Kermit piggy costumes

Does anyone know where this picture comes from? -- Danny 22:14, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

Maybe it's a production still from The Great Muppet Caper? Judging by Piggy's wardrobe, which looks like one she wore in that film. - User:Connolly86 (talk) 3:38, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
I've seen the picture before, and it's on Alamy with no helpful info (or accurate) info, but I don't know what it's from either.
Regarding Connolly's comment though, this looks to me like something Piggy wore in GMC, but I'm not sure that it is. It occurred to me that a database of Piggy's outfits sorted by production would be a helpful thing for situations like this and would be a lot of fun to put together Emoji-mad. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 11:20, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
I think it might be related to a production that was never made, based on Murder on the Orient Express or something. I remember seeing a posed photo at a Museum of TV and Radio exhibit back in my pre-wiki Tough Pigs days, but there wasn't any other information and smartphones didn't exist yet so I didn't take a picture of it. I know that this commment makes me sound vaguely senile but maybe it'll jog someone's memory? -- Danny 14:38, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
Here's that picture (included in The Muppets Say Cheese) but it's not a match, and the background info on Alviero Martini (from Scott's correspondence with John E. Barrett) suggests it was just the one photo. -- Andrew Emoji-droolAdminsig 16:55, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
Ah, that would be what I remember. So no, this is from something else. It seems like one of those fashion magazine spreads like in GQ or ODDA Magazine, but I think that's more of a 2010s phenomenon, and it feels like this picture is earlier than that. -- Danny 18:24, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
