Hello!
I've previously asked for confirmation concerning certain animators' work on Sesame before elsewhere in this Wiki, but I figured it might be best to park whatever inquiries and whatnot I might have on the subject in one place here on out. And if anyone else wants to use this thread for their own CTW animator inquiries/research, feel free.
Anyhoo, two lingering queries I've had for a while: 1. Do the docs reveal the identity of the animator who produced "C Canary", "Measuring Bubble Gum", "Shoemaker's Ruler" and a few others? I'm considering making a page for this person as there's enough inserts with the same visual style to consider a page to be made for this artist.
2. Did the Mirukami-Wolf studio do any work for CTW? A friend of mine has wondered if they did "Up and Down - Window Shade", and I'd like to have this confirmed.

- 1) The document I have lists "Tanner/Sutton Studios" with voiceover work by Bert Tanner and Howard Sutton.
- 2) "Up & Down - Window Shade" has Sal Maimone listed as producer and voiceover.

- To add details (and park for future use), Tanner/Sutton produced commercials in the 1970s. That's why there's so little info about them (though I found a possible lead on Bert Tanner, having done magazine illustrations prior, so a page might be makeable eventually).
- Sal Maimone had worked in animation (like the early 1960s Marvel Superheroes series) but he was primarily a photographer, mainly for the Department of Defense (including for atom bomb tests!) Again, still researching, but all the bits and pieces so far present a fascinating story. -- Andrew

Thanks for the info, fellows. Maimone especially sounds like an interesting fellow, and I can't wait to see more information show up in the future as you continue your research on him, Andrew. SqueakyCartWheel (talk) 03:24, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
One other query I've had for a while - was John Korty indeed responsible for the animation in the series of "ET" cartoons with the "zet" bird? Somebody on an Electric Company Wiki has attributed a similar series of sketches with the same white background, serif typeface and Moog music to him, and although the animation in these inserts does look similar to Korty's work, I'm not completely confident in it being his doing. - The document I have cites the producer of those bits as "Center Int'l Cinemedia." -- Tony

Very, very belated, but thank you again! SqueakyCartWheel (talk) 15:06, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
Another query I've had on the brain for a bit - do the documents reveal which inserts Granville "Sascha" Burland worked on? I've seen his name credited on the "Numbers" computer game of the early 90s, but have no idea what bits he might've been responsible for. SqueakyCartWheel (talk) 21:50, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
