Does anyone have a source for the Sesame Place Neighborhood Theater being named the "Monsterpiece Theatre"? Both Sesame Place stage shows and Sesame Place attractions pages state that it was, but I can't find anything else online to corroborate that. All I know is that from maps I did find, is that in 2007 it was named the Big Bird Theater, and in 2010 (or 2009, I'm not completely sure, a source for that would be good too), it was named Monster Rock Theater. In 2016, the name changed to Sesame Place Neighborhood Theater and that is it's current name.

If it was named Monsterpiece, then it would've been only for a couple years, and of course I can't find any brochures or maps from that time period. - Maddox (talk) 20:58, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

The first time the phrase was added to Sesame Place attractions was on April 29, 2011 by Brad.
It was first added to Sesame Place stage shows on April 20, 2010 by Nick.
The latter appears to be the first time the information was introduced on the wiki. I'll ping Nick on his talk page and ask him to weigh in. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 14:11, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
Oh goodness. Yes, at least for the Halloween season of 2011 it was Monster Rock Theatre, based on this park map. There's a complete lack of Wayback caches for 2010. I was mostly focused on Wikinews in that era, but it was way back in 2007 that I coordinated a volunteer photographer to be there, and it wasn't that building the concerts were in. And it fails newspapers.com. I honestly don't know what was up. Sorry. -- Zanimum (talk) 03:34, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
I just looked through my email threads from 2007, hoping to blame the third-party publicist Sesame Place had at the time, but there's absolutely no mention of where Bob McGrath or Christy Carlson Romano were performing within the park, let alone this goof up. -- Zanimum (talk) 03:42, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
I would say let's remove references to Monsterpiece Theater. It looks like a miscommunication of info from point A to point B. "Monster Rock" not "Monsterpiece." —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 12:15, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
