Do we have an article on the closing theme music for Sesame Street which, at least in the early 1980s, was played over the funding acknowledgments after the main credit sequence? This YouTube video includes the music in question. It's done in sort of a funk style with prominent saxophones, bells, and wah-wah electric guitar. I had a look at Sesame Street Theme but either there's no mention of it there, or I overlooked it. If we don't currently have an article on this piece, perhaps someone could identify the title and composer for me with reference to some authoritative source, such as the liner notes of an official soundtrack album? The bells make me suspect it's a Joe Raposo piece, and indeed there are various user-contributed YouTube videos and Reddit posts crediting it to him under the title "Funky Chimes" or "Bells and Horns", but I haven't been able to verify this through any official sources. If we do have an article on this piece and it's not yet mentioned in the Sesame Street Theme article, then perhaps a link could be added in the "Closings" section. I'm not sure "Sesame Street Theme" would be the best place to cover this since it's a different piece of music. Offhand, I don't know what it's called or who the composer might be, but any sourceable info you can dig up would be helpful. โ€”Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 12:59, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
