Sandbox:Fraggle symbol has been getting some attention off-wiki, so I thought now would be a good time to figure out how to get this out of the sandbox. Per my initial note at the top of the page, I don't know enough about Fraggle lore to really flesh this out properly. Grant, you've made a good handful of edits, and I know you know Fraggle lore pretty well; do you have thoughts? —Scott (talk) 16:31, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- I think the page now contains everything we know. These are all the appearances I know of, and it doesn't really get talked about much on the show. Is there a term for the funny face the Fraggle in the symbol is making, with hands like antlers on either side of the head? --GrantHarding (talk) 18:22, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- That's a good question. It seems similar to wikipedia:blowing a raspberry or wikipedia:cocking a snook or wikipedia:nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah. —Scott (talk) 18:50, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
- As for the gesture, it looks closest to "Nyah nyah nyah" to me (or for that matter, the Grouchketeer greeting!) -- Andrew 02:13, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- I added some details today. --GrantHarding (talk) 18:57, 14 April 2023 (UTC)

I also noticed today's new addition, File:FraggleSymbol.png. Brad, it looks like you used Illustrator's "tracing" feature to get a vector out of File:Fragglekind flag FR212.jpg. I think it looks good, but the tracing appears to have picked up imperfections from the cloth of the flag that aren't necessarily there in the logo itself. As such, I don't think it's an accurate representation in its current state, but I think it's worth another go. We just need to be careful it doesn't start dipping into the realm of fan art or altering the reality of the object as presented on screen. —Scott (talk) 16:31, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
