With the addition of the Frank Biondo entry, it's come to my attention that the website that houses the super in-depth interviews that The Archive of American Television has been doing for years now, appears to have been overhauled. They're no longer hiding the full interviews away, and, on top of that, each one has an extensive list of notes, annotations, and chapter stops for points of interest.

I've already added links to each landing page, and I had plans to remove my own edits for Spinney, Manzano, Epstein, and Cooney. Rather than re-embed their videos, I think we should just remove the others. I don't think it makes sense to house the video embeds here anymore when they're doing a much better job at curating their own content. I'm thinking we just add a screenshot and keep the landing page links for each. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 20:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

I like what Brad's put together at [[Sandbox:The Archive of American Television]]. I don't think we need the connections though. It's just a really long list of names that don't mean anything. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 23:03, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree. I think it'll be easier to source stuff back to that page instead of the video links. And I agree the connections list is long and not that useful. - Shane latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 23:27, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Ditto on connections. If someone wanted to pick through and find relevant moments where Tony Charmoli talked about working on the John Denver/Muppet special or the like, that might be of use, but not just "here's people who were also interviewed." Besides, now the Academy page pretty much has that covered, with topics, people, and show pages. For example, here everybody who brings up Sesame Street is shown, cued to the relevant portions, and there's a similar Muppet Show page (although it includes Judge Wapner, so either he or the indexers conflated Muppets Tonight with it, but we've seen stuff like that before). I also took out the category since no sandbox pages should be there (and since what will likely happen is just merging with the existing page; it's not one of those where we can just remove the prefix). -- Andrew Emoji-droolAdminsig 01:25, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
I removed the connections list, and added a listing of some of the curated "topic" pages that may be interesting and highlight clips from non-Muppet people talking about Muppet stuff. If someone wants to grab nice screencaps of each interviewee, feel free. - BradFraggle (talk) 01:55, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Would Anita Mann be worth adding to the list? She does have some nice Henson credentials and talks about them in her interview. - Shane latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 02:07, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Sure, I think so. In her case, I'd say it would be more prudent to link directly to where she talks about her work that's relevant here. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 11:01, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
I added Lloyd Morrisett to the table (his interview is all about Sesame). I also added a list of "mentions" for individuals who talked about their Muppet/Henson work but it's not a main focus of their overall interview or career. If you want, I think we can nuke the sandbox page now. - BradFraggle (talk) 14:32, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Nice. I like the addition of the interview mentions at the bottom. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 14:38, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
