My younger brother is Autistic and Muppets are his Hyperfixation, a phenomenon I'm under the impression is fairly common in this wiki. He has a bunch of 'can we fix this / change this' questions and requests he wants to make, but I know that bulldozing into a wiki and making changes as a newcomer is frowned upon, even small ones. What is the appropriate person / place to ask about 'here is the things he wants to do, which ones are possible and how do I do that without stepping on toes or breaking rules?' —RednocNivert26 (talk) 20:28, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi Red. To start, please make sure you and your brother are familiar with the wiki's rules. They're linked in the header of the website and everyone gets a link to them in their welcome message.
You're right in using caution regarding "bulldozing into a wiki," so thanks for starting this thread.
To directly answer your question, the wiki is edited by many contributors and managed by a handful of admins who all do this in our free time as a hobby for no pay. The intent of any wiki is to adhere to the rules, expand as helpful, and follow the standard set by editors who came before you. In this respect, I'm hesitant to say that it's feasible for every query to be answered. We'll do the best we can, but it would be more prudent to start slow and edit with caution. The rules are quite comprehensive and designed to help editors avoid missteps.
All that said — while using discretion, and with the rest of my response in mind — this thread might be a good spot for you and your brother to ask the community how best to move forward with specific changes. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 20:35, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
Fair enough. I have read through the wiki rules and the couple minor changes we started with, both got reverted rather quickly, so I wanted to make sure we're not going to immediately get tossed out (I'm kind of the liaison between the outside world of wiki-goers and the inner workings of his brain on this). I'll go ask him what all he has in mind and then can dump it here and see if anyone has any guidance. Thank you for your quick reply. --RednocNivert26 (talk) 20:40, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
We do our best to leave edit summaries when reverting an addition, but due to our availability, sometimes a revert may be done quickly without an explanation. Asking the individual who made the revert was the right thing to do as you did recently. —Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 20:46, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
Per my brother, in regards to the Original Muppet Movie has a couple of questions about their article on the Wiki: "Why are there 5 Crocodiles? I thought there were 4. Also, wasn't the Trumpet Girl in the finale too? Shouldn't she be on the list?"
