So, I was scrolling on this page (The Muppets Take Manhattan (video)) today and noticed the section describing the 4K Blu-Ray was formatted slightly different to that of the other sections on the page. I thought that the page would look cleaner and edited as such, but obviously it led to the page being locked (which I have noticed... whenever I edit on most pages they always get protected for a week or so) and another warning for not using the Forum to discuss about it before I edited the page.
So, I was thinking on the movie pages at least, or maybe TV show video pages as well that I could go with something like this (this was part of my previous edit):
DVD Releases | |||
Cover | Year | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|
2001 | Distributor: Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment Catalogue number: 05616 The first North American DVD release of the film. It contains a single disc with both the widescreen and full screen transfers of the film. Unlike previous releases, (and concurrent Muppet movie DVD releases), this version has mono sound rather than stereo. Disc Features

So here, I put the distributor and product number above and put more emphesis on the release itself.
What do you think? LTPHarry (talk) 14:41, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Another idea I had was in regards to international releases. Having releases corospond with a specific country, much like how the Disney Wiki formats it's video pages. Standalone video pages obviously don't need those changes but the international sections may need cleanup as well. Eg, I had a look on the A Muppet Family Christmas (video) page and it looks a bit messy due to the way it's currently formatted. LTPHarry (talk) 15:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- If you want me to, should I create a test draft (eg, doing one for The Muppets Take Manhattan utalizing the edits I previously did) or something like that? LTPHarry (talk) 23:33, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
