Funny or die banjos

Funny or Die is a comedy video website with original and user-generated content.

On August 20, 2013, Kermit the Frog appeared in a video with Steve Martin performing "Dueling Banjos". Their competition ends with the two trading mild insults. (video)

On March 20, 2014, Funny or Die exclusively debuted the music video for "I'll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu)" featuring Bret McKenzie, Miss Piggy, Constantine, and Foo-Foo. (video)

In February 2015, Big Bird (performed by Matt Vogel) and Michelle Obama appeared on an episode of the Funny or Die produced game show Billy on the Street. (video)

On November 10, 2015, Big Bird (performed by Vogel) and Count von Count appeared in a video, where Big Bird was interning for the company. The video includes a cameo by Bobby Moynihan. (video)

  • On April 1, 2013, as part of Kickstart or Die was a parody short, that featured Baby Sinclair from Dinosaurs promoting a Kickstarter for his one-man show Where's the Mamma? Baby Sinclair, is portrayed as a former child star who suffers from depression, and has a drug addiction. (video)
  • In the video "Jean Dujardin's Villain Auditions," one of his auditions is for "Muppets 2", which has him saying "Kermit..." in a menacing way.
  • The song "Handjob, Blandjob, I Don't Understand Job" features references to Elmo and Statler and Waldorf. And, in the end, two people appear in Statler and Waldorf masks.
  • On February 2017, Funny or Die uploaded a video call "Muppet Muppet Land (A Kermit in 'La La Land' Mashup)". In the video, Kermit replaces Ryan Gosling as the love interest of Mia (Emma Stone).
