"Furry Blue Mommy of Mine" is a Sesame Street song performed by Herry Monster about how much he loves and appreciates his mother. Backing him up are Maurice Monster on trumpet and Harvey Monster playing the banjo.
The song is later performed in the Sesame Street Live show Around the World by Herry, Cookie Monster, and Grover. While the homesick trio are taking a gondola ride through Venice (with Grover doing the paddling), they sing about their respective loving mothers. Herry also briefly hums the tune before singing with Garth Brooks in a season 30 segment (First: Episode 3814).
This song is a spoof of Gene Autry's 1932 song "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine."
