- At the 32nd GLAAD Media Awards (held on YouTube) in 2021, JoJo Siwa presented Elmo (appearing via webcam) with the Outstanding Children’s Programming award for The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. While the two don't directly interact or appear on-screen together, Elmo thanks Siwa by name and tells her that he loves her sparkly bow. He also thanks Sarah Kate Ellis (CEO of GLAAD) and all of his friends.
- In 2022, the Muppet Babies episode "Gonzo-rella" was nominated for Outstanding Children’s Programming, losing to Sesame Street for Episode 5132.
