Gail Sky King (1956–2022), sometimes credited as Gail Elise King, was a composer and writer for Sesame Street from seasons 24 to 30. She co-composed several songs for the show.
A multi-talented artist, King was also an accomplished musician, DJ, juggler, and a competitive roller skater. Before her Sesame stint, King had previously served as the skating stunt coordinator for Miss Piggy's chase through Central Park in The Muppets Take Manhattan.
Outside of Sesame Street, King also wrote songs for Gullah Gullah Island (with Peter Lurye and Billy Cobin) and was both a composer and musical director for Ghostwriter.
