"Games Around the World" refers to a series of live-action films for Sesame Street, first aired in 1975. The series of three films show various recreational activities done in similar ways across different countries and cultures. The films are based around "Balls" (First: Episode 0773), "Jumping" (First: Episode 0774), and "Throwing" (First: Episode 0809).
Although all three films are registered as musical works on ASCAP,[1][2][3] "Balls" is the only one of the films with a lyrical component to the music. The song is sung by children in voiceover, which eventually becomes a round. While this particular film is registered on ASCAP as specifically "Games Around The World Balls"[1], other registries refer to it simply as "Games Around the World."[4][5]
