In 1986, International Games released a set of Sesame Street card games called "Games for Growing". These were for ages 3 and up. 1 to 4 players could play at three different skill levels.
The first set of six games released included Alphabet, Counting, Colors, Shapes, Animal Families and Going Places. The second wave included Seasons and Opposites. The third wave included Shopping and Feeling Fit. Two Storybook Reading games were also produced: Bert & Ernie's Adventures, and Big Bird's Adventures.
Some of the games were reissued in 1993 by Mattel.
