Garcelle Beauvais (b. 1966) is an actor best known for her lead roles on The Jamie Foxx Show and NYPD Blue (as the resident ADA from 2001 to 2004).
In 2019, Beauvais recorded a "Sesame Street Memories" video alongside Elmo, Grover and Count von Count. She also appeared in the song "Fifty by Ten" during Sesame Street Season 50.
Beauvais made four appearances on Family Matters in different roles (sometimes in dream sequences), was a regular on the Melrose Place spinoff Models Inc. and the series Eyes, and recurred on Siren. She had guest parts on Miami Vice, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Mentalist, and Arrested Development.
