Garmin produces GPS technology for markets such as aviation, marine, fitness, tracking, and mobile apps.
In 2011, Garmin released voice skins of Bert and Ernie (Eric Jacobson and Steve Whitmire) recorded specifically for GPS devices in similar function to TomTom's. Voice skins featuring the voices of Oscar the Grouch (Caroll Spinney) and Cookie Monster (David Rudman) soon followed.
