Geo is an international magazine first published in Germany beginning in 1976. Knapp Communications handles its American distribution out of Los Angeles, California.

- January 1983 (Volume 5, Number 1) — Jim Henson is interviewed by Robert Cowley and photographed by Brian Lanker. The interview takes place at a studio in Toronto following Henson's appearance in Detroit for The Art of the Muppets exhibit. Topics include the recent release of The Dark Crystal, production on the forthcoming Fraggle Rock, the beginnings of his career, and how he reflects on this work. Henson cites L. Frank Baum's Oz books as an inspiration during childhood and recognizes the film adaptation of The Wizard of Oz as his favorite movie (it was the first he saw, and remembers being frightened of the MGM lion).
