Georg Tryphon (b. 1935) is a German character actor and voice actor who dubbed various roles on Die Dinos (Dinosaurs), usually Mr. Pulman. He was also heard in Die Reise ins Labyrinth (Labyrinth) as one of the Four Guards.

Tryphon often dubbed actors in outsized comedy roles, such as Jamie Farr on M*A*S*H (and That 70s Show), Stephen Stucker in Airplane! and its sequel, Gilbert Gottfried in Beverly Hills Cop II, and Glenn Shadix in Beetlejuice. More subdued assignments included Ben Stein in Planes Trains and Automobiles, Ed Koch in We Own the Night, Timothy Bateson in Oliver Twist, and a reporter in Terminator. In animation, he dubbed the first little pig in the Shrek franchise, Stinky in Casper and video sequels, Metro on two of the French Once Upon a Time series, and guest characters on DuckTales. He was also heard in the German animated features The Fearless Four and Back to Gaya.

Often cast as merchants and professors, Tryphon has been active in German film and television since the late sixties, including supporting roles in several of Dieter Hallervorden's comedies. Other German movies include Otto - Der Liebesfilm (with Otto Waalkes) and Ödipussi (with Karl-Ulrich Meves). English-language films include The Book Thief (with Geoffrey Rush), Pope Joan (with John Goodman), Grand Budapest Hotel (as one of the monks who help Ralph Fiennes), Becoming Colette (with Virginia Madsen), and the TV movie The Whipping Boy (with George C. Scott).

Tryphon appeared in one of The Saint TV movies (with Donald Arthur), and on Lexx, the Netflix series Sense8, and the British spy series Game, Set, and Match (with Ian Holm). German TV includes Tatort, Hamburg Transit, and Bella Block. On radio, he was heard in a 1981 version of Animal Farm and regularly on the 1990 version of the 1930s Marx Brothers radio show Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel (multiple times as bailiff in courtroom scenes, as well as other foils and bits).
