George Devens (sometimes billed as George Devons and George Devins) is a percussionist, particularly known for his vibraphone playing. Along with Ed Shaughnessy, he supplied the percussion soundtrack to Jim Henson's 1965 short film Time Piece. Over the years, Devens also did session work for Sesame Street, usually on albums.

Devens frequently worked as a session musician for Dizzy Gillespie and also recorded with Buddy Greco, Chad and Jeremy, Grace Slick, and Joe Williams. He also performed on the album for The Great Space Coaster (1982), produced by former Sesame records producer Arthur Shimkin.
