George James with the cast of Pinwheel
George Jacob James, usually credited as George James, is a songwriter and actor who contributed lyrics to several Sesame Street songs by Sam Pottle. These include "It Feels Good When You Sing a Song," "Lonely," and "It's Your Body."
James was a regular on the early Nickelodeon puppet series Pinwheel as Jake. He later wrote episodes of The Puzzle Place. Acting credits include appearances on The Dukes of Hazzard and Frank's Place and the film I'm Gonna Get You Sucka (with John Vernon and Kadeem Hardison).
