Gerhard Garbers (b. 1942) is a German actor who narrated the 1996 Sesamstrasse documentary Reisen in die Phantasie - Zu Gast in der Sesamstraße.

Garbers acted on stage, appearing in the ensemble of Maximilian Schell's 1963 performance of Hamlet (with Uwe Friedrichsen) and in Ingmar Bergman's 1977 production of August Strindberg's Dream Play as the young lover "He" (and as the poet in the second half). On TV, he appeared in episodes of Tatort, Derrick, the revival of the early police drama Stahlnetz, and regularly on the comedic mystery series Adelheid und ihre Mörder (1993-2007).

Garbers narrated documentaries including the nature series Expeditionen ins Tierreich and the World War II-themed Dear Uncle Adolf: The Germans and Their Führer (2010, as one of several speakers), as well as audiobooks. Infrequent dubbing assignments include Gary Cooper in Morocco, Kris Kristofferson in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, and Burne Thompson on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was heard in the German animated features Der kleene Punker, Felidae, and animated portions of Werner - Beinhart!

Radio work includes Odysseus in a loose 1984 version of Homer, narrating various one-shot crime dramas, and Dr. Watson in two Sherlock Holmes productions between 2014 and 2016 (including The Hound of the Baskervilles).
