A pair of germs appear in a Sesame Street sketch promoting healthy brushing habits. (First: Episode 1482)
The germs invade a human mouth and evilly declare how they're going to rot it out. They are frightened away upon the arrival of a heroic toothbrush (Michael Earl), armed with toothpaste.
The puppets would later be seen milling about the Furry Arms Hotel in Episode 3395.
