Get Well, Granny Bird is a 1989 Sesame Street storybook featuring Big Bird.
Big Bird takes care of Granny Bird when she's sick. However, his clumsiness gets in the way of things. He accidentally serves Granny cold soup, and then he unintentionally tracks sand into the house. The final straw for him is when he trips and spills rice on the floor, causing him to break down in tears, feeling like he's been a nuisance. Thankfully, Granny reassures Big Bird that he has been helpful.
Illustrator Joe Mathieu used his childhood memories of Cape Cod for the setting of Granny Bird's home.[1]
