"Getaway" was a hit song for R&B/funk band Earth, Wind & Fire in 1976. Featured on their Spirit album, the song spent two weeks at number one on the R&B singles chart and peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song played in the background in the 1999 film Muppets from Space as the Muppets fled from the security guards through the C.O.V.N.E.T. base.
