Giancarlo Esposito (b. 1958) is a Danish-born, half-Italian, half-African-American character actor, best known for portraying Buggin’ Out in Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing and appearing as a regular character during the final season of Homicide: Life on the Street. On Sesame Street, Esposito portrayed Mickey, Big Bird’s camp counselor, during episodes 1706 through 1710, which aired during 1982.
