"Gimme Five" was performed on Sesame Street in the 1970s. The singing group "The Lovers of Five" (consisting of Gordon, Bob, David, and Luis) sang of their admiration for the number 5 on a stage adorned with numbers.
The song is a parody of "Float On" by the Floaters.
