The journey of Prairie Dawn's glass of milk is saluted by Sonny Friendly on "The New Here is Your Life." In Prairie's kitchen, the contained dairy beverage is reunited with Bossy the Cow, Grass, The Sun, and the rain, all of whom helped make the milk what he is today (as well as Prairie, who is going to drink the milk).
The glass of milk puppet has made several other appearances on Sesame Street and home videos, often with different facial features but retaining its pink lips. The milk has also appeared in "The Most Important Meal of the Day," performed by David Rudman; Elmo's Magic Cookbook, with different eyes and a mustache and performed again by Martin P. Robinson; and Happy Healthy Monsters, with feminine eyes and performed by Jennifer Barnhart.
A different glass of milk, also performed by Robinson but with a deeper voice, a different face and a mustache, was one of the contestants on "The Eating Game."
