Gleem is a brand of toothpaste made by Proctor & Gamble. In 1967, Jim Henson created a test commercial for the company featuring two new characters, Clyde and Horace.
Their relationship fits into the typical combative pattern established by Wilkins and Wontkins and other pairs, although softened by the fact that Horace (the doubter) is a cheerful (if forced) convert to the product by commercial's end (with the help of some lightning bolts).
It is unknown to The Jim Henson Company Archives whether any of the commercials actually aired.
