Glenn Drewes (b. 1949) is a trumpeter who was a member of the Sesame Street house band for several seasons, until Joe Fiedler organized a new house band in 2010. He also played on Muppet performer Jerry Nelson's solo album Truro Daydreams.

Drewes played with big band leaders Lionel Hampton and Woody Herman in the 1970s, and with Buddy Rich and Dizzy Gillespie in the 1980s. At special live concert events, he accompanied Lena Horne, Liza Minnelli, and B. B. King, among others. On albums, he recorded with Jane Horrocks (on The Further Adventures of Little Voice) and Ricky Martin (playing on "She Bangs.") Since 1985, Drewes has been a member of the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and in 2006 he began playing with Tommy Igoe's Birdland Big Band.

Drewes is also a frequent pit player in Broadway shows, including both the 1986 and 2005 revivals of Sweet Charity, the 1990s revival of Guys and Dolls, City of Angels, Side Show, Fosse, Chicago, Once Upon a Mattress, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, and the 2004 one night concert of Hair.
