Gloat, a green Frackle, was one of Cosmo Scam's henchmen in The Great Santa Claus Switch. In the concept art, Gloat is referred to as the Eagle-Frackle.
The puppet used for Gloat would be rebuilt and reused in later productions as a generic utility monster. The puppet, known as the Green Frackle, would change performer, attire, role, name and even gender depending on the production needs.
Gloat (identified with he/him pronouns) appears in "Fozzie's Super-Sticky Situation" from the anthology Muppets Meet the Classics: Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm. In this retelling of "The Golden Goose", Gloat, Boppity, and Snivelly play the innkeeper's children who get stuck to the golden owl while attempting to steal its feathers.
