Gloria Montoya is an old friend of Maria's who appears on Sesame Street in Episode 3045.
Hailing from Cuba, Gloria makes her profession as a pilot (described as a modern-day Amelia Earhart) who works as a skywriter. Despite their differences, she and Maria still share a love for dancing. After Big Bird says he wishes he could fly, Gloria takes him and Maria on a ride in her plane.
