Go U Northwestern

"Go U Northwestern" is the official fight song of Northwestern University in Chicago. It was originally written by Theodore Van Etten, a member of a marching band at the time. The song is used in many other schools and universities, including Northwestern High School in Maryland, where Jim Henson attended.

In a season two sketch on Sesame Street, Ernie assumes that a present Bert has is for himself and thinks of what it could be. Ernie initially guesses a football and fetches a football helmet, singing a portion of the fight song.
