Baby Animal appears at the end of most Muppet Babies episodes delivering a post-credit tag with his catch-phrase "go bye-bye!"

- In Mount Rushmore, Baby Animal appears in the opening of Thomas Jefferson's mouth, saying "Go bye-bye" to the viewers. After closing the teeth, all the pieces fall off.
- In a bat cave, Baby Animal shouts "Go night-night!", scaring the bats out flying.
- The babies are in a spaceship calling for Animal, who is hiding in the moon.
- The babies have a look at the famous Mona Lisa. After they left, Animal appeared with his head replacing the Mona Lisa saying Go bye-bye! to the viewers and then switching back again. He fell down causing a big bang off camera.
- Baby Animal pops out of an egg saying "Go bye-bye" to the viewers while pretending to be a chicken before going back in.
- Baby Animal rides a wakeboard attached to a plane saying "Go bye-bye" to the viewers.
- Baby Animal appears waiting for a cab to arrive. Baby Kermit then comes with one and he climbs in. After that he then tells the cab driver to go in gibberish and Kermit accepts it. He then says "Go bye-bye" to the viewers before the cab drives away.
- Baby Animal rides a Ferris wheel, and after he says "Go bye-bye," the ferris wheel detaches and rolls away.
- Near the top of Big Ben, Baby Animal counts down to zero near its clock face. Big Ben chimes with so much noise that the background shatters to pieces, then a second chime causes Big Ben to shatter to pieces before Baby Animal says "Go bye-bye" and disappears.
- Baby Gonzo appears with some giant cookies. He is then given a jumpscare when Baby Animal said "Naughty, naughty!" and then falls down with the cookies landing on him. Before Animal starts eating the cookies, he says go bye-bye to the viewers.
- Baby Gonzo appears on a TV interrupting the broadcast for an important announcement about a crazy looking kid with a hairy pink face, that has been running around the city turning people's TV sets off. Baby Animal starts turning the TV off by saying "Go bye-bye" to the viewers. Gonzo tells him not to do it, but it was already too late. Animal can be heard but not seen on the de-powered TV.
- In the nursery, Gonzo stumbles upon the viewers' dirty screen and cleans it with spray and a wiper. For his service, he charges the viewer five cents, when Animal pops up with a cupcake that was seen in the episode and hurls it toward the screen. As the chocolate fills the area up, Animal says, "Go bye-bye!"
- Baby Animal sits on Orion's arrow, and as he pulls it back, he says "Go Night Night, Animal?" Animal says "Go Bye-Bye" after he lets the arrow loose, launching Animal through space.
- Appearing as shadows, Gonzo and Animal hear Nanny calling them for dinner. Gonzo holds off on it, but (to his dismay) Animal heads to the kitchen right away, telling "Go-bye-bye!"
- Baby Animal makes a mess of blue paint on the camera after he says "Go bye bye".

- The first season episode "Good Clean Fun" breaks the fourth wall; after Animal dumps water on Scooter he says "Go Bye Bye!," Baby Piggy tells him that the show isn't over yet and happens again when the water went everywhere in the bathroom.
- Baby Animal's "Go Bye Bye" tag is similar to adult Animal's post-credit tags in The Muppet Movie ("Go Home!") and The Muppets Take Manhattan ("Bye Bye! Bye Bye!").
- A storybook was released in 1984 entitled "Animal Go Bye-Bye."
- In the episode "Muppets of the Carribbean" of the 2018 Muppet Babies series, Animal finds a baby bonnet and puts it on; a callback to the character's original series design. When the episode ends, Animal is still wearing the bonnet; he looks to the camera and says, "Go bye-bye!" in reference to the original show.
