Sesame Street Google Bugle
"Google Bugle," also called "Google Boogle,"[1] is performed in a theater by Cookie Monster and famed bugle player Old MacDougal. Kermit introduces the performance using more words in the "-oogle family." Cookie sings about how his eyes google whenever he hears MacDougal's bugle. The song interpolates the melody of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm."
Notes[]
- Kermit credits "Sir Chrissy von Koogle" as the song's composer, an in-joke to the actual composer, Christopher Cerf.
- Additional performers in the segment include Cheryl Blaylock and Brian Muehl.[2]
- This segment was directed by David Heeley and was taped on January 11, 1983.[2]
