Gordon Jackson, giving Rubber Duckie a tentative squeeze
Gordon Jackson (1923-1990) was a Scottish-born actor who appeared in such films as The Great Escape and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, but who achieved his greatest fame as Hudson the butler on Upstairs Downstairs.
Jackson, along with his Upstairs Downstairs co-star Jean Marsh, appeared in the celebrity version of "Put Down the Duckie", which also appeared on Sesame Street, Special.
