The Got Milk? ad campaign began in 1993 by the U.S. government and the California Milk Board in an attempt to get American consumers to buy more milk after milk sales had declined over the past 20 years.
The print campaign featured all different types of celebrities with "milk mustaches." Among the celebrities were Kermit the Frog and Cookie Monster (the latter of which was also released as a poster).
