Howie Mandel, in a Gizmo shirt, talks about how the same voice is used for Skeeter
Gremlins is a 1984 film in which a cute critter bought as a Christmas present spawns a platoon of vicious little monsters who terrorize a small town. The movie, and the toys and merchandise tie-ins, proved a financial success, leading to a 1990 sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch.
The main critter, the cute Mogwai Gizmo who unwillingly spawns the evil versions when his owner breaks the rules of caring for him, was voiced by Howie Mandel. Mandel discussed in a January 17, 2019 appearance on The Tonight Show how he reused the voice as Skeeter on Muppet Babies (and on Bobby's World).
