Hoots the Owl and his band want to play a jazz set, but Oscar the Grouch wants him and his audience (David, Maria, Hiroshi, and a kid) to go away. Hoots suggests they cooperate and Oscar finds himself singing about how lousy his day has been while Hoots and his band jam out.
