In the 1970's, there was a series of six different segments on Sesame Street featuring a female gymnast who had long, blonde hair and wore a black leotard. These segments were each about 30 seconds or so in length and featured mellow music in the background. The gymnast used various gymnastic apparata to demonstrate certain concepts. The six segments were as follows:
Around - she swings on a rope around a pommel horse
Beginning-End - she performs an uneven bars routine
Between - she swings on a rope between two pommel horses
Close To-Away From - she swings on rings to and from the viewer
Over-Under - she alternately vaults over and rolls under a pommel horse
Slow - she performs an uneven bars routine in slow motion (basically a slow version of Beginning-End)
