H. Ross Perot (1930 - 2019) was a businessman and two-time United States Presidental candidate. In 1992, he ran as an Independent when supporters from all 50 states got his name on the ballot. In 1995, he formed the Reform Party and ran for President again in 1996.

- He was spoofed on Sesame Street with the character H. Ross Parrot. When the character was first announced in early 1993, Perot was quoted in Newsweek magazine: "I'm sure that parrot thinks he's much better looking than I am."
- Perot supporters are mentioned cheering for the destruction of the White House during the "Co-Dependance Day" sketch in episode 202 of Muppets Tonight. Meepzorp insists Perot be left out of the discussion, claiming he's "one of us."
