"Happy Trails" is the closing theme song for the 1950s television series The Roy Rogers Show (performed over the closing credits). It served the same closing function on the still-running radio series before becoming the overall theme in 1953.
Guest stars Roy Rogers and Dale Evans sing "Happy Trails" as the last part of the closing number on episode 322 of The Muppet Show. In addition to appearing in the video, the audio from this segment plays during the credits for Country Music with the Muppets.
In Rocky Mountain Holiday, Miss Piggy and John Denver sing "Happy Trails" while riding on horseback through the mountains.
