Harold and Maybelle Sweet are a married couple who appears in Episode 2276 of Sesame Street.
Hailing from Sunnygrove, Montana, the Sweets are very surprised and delighted to be on Oscar the Grouch's show "This is Your Trash," in which Oscar shows off items that they have thrown away. The Sweets' mood turns sour when Harold (a jogging enthusiast) realizes that his favorite pair of running shoes have been tossed out in favor of new ones. Likewise, flower-loving Maybelle is furious to discover that she hasn't been told of the broken vase that Harold had thrown out until Oscar shows it to her. The Sweets stay angry by the show's end, much to the delight of Oscar and the audience of Grouchketeers.
