Harvey Fierstein as the Easter Bunny.

Harvey Fierstein (b. 1954) is a character actor and playwright who became famous in the early '80s for his Tony Award winning & semi-autobiographical play, Torch Song Trilogy. As an out gay performer, Fierstein has often played gay (or drag) roles, including Robin Williams' brother Frank in Mrs. Doubtfire, Homer Simpson's assistant Karl on The Simpsons, and his Tony-winning role as Edna Turnblad in the Broadway musical Hairspray.

Muppet Credits

In 1996, Fierstein played the Easter Bunny in the Sesame Street special Elmo Saves Christmas. He also contributed a "Tomato and Onion Salad" recipe for Miss Piggy's 1996 cookbook, In the Kitchen with Miss Piggy.

Fierstein was also a guest in Season 35, where he handed out noses in a musical number, "Everything's Coming Up Noses.".
