"Heartbreak Hotel" was one of Elvis Presley's biggest hits. The recording used on Sam and Friends, however, was the Capitol Records parody by Stan Freberg. Freberg does an Elvis impression, asking for a little more echo on his voice and ripping his jeans due to his movements ("Third pair today.")
