Heathcliff is a comic strip created by George Gately in 1973 and taken over by his nephew Peter Gallagher in 1998 featuring Heathcliff, an orange tabby cat. The comic strip was spun off into two television series, an animated film, and multiple series of comic books.

- Heathcliff was one of the main stars of the Marvel Comics reprint digest Star Comics Magazine, appearing in the new cover art of every issue, usually with Baby Piggy or Baby Kermit from Muppet Babies, one of the Care Bears, and others.
