Prairie Dawn introduces Herbert Birdsfoot, who is going to recite a poem about the letter K. However, Herbert doesn't want to recite his poem, because everybody will think it is silly. Everyone promises not to say that it's silly, so he recites his poem. After he finishes, they all break their promise and say "That's silly!"
The poem was written by Jerry Juhl. On the release of Sing The Alphabet, the track is retitled as "Herb's Silly Poem".
