Here Is Your Life is a reunion show hosted by Guy Smiley on Sesame Street. In a parody of This Is Your Life, Guy surprises each episode's subject (usually a plant, food item, or other inanimate object) and presents its life story. Guy asks the subjects to recognize off-camera voices, culminating in touching reunions with those who figured in the subjects' early lives.
In season 26, new sketches were produced under the billing "The New Here is Your Life," with Sonny Friendly taking over the role of host. The "Here Is Your Life" theme was composed by Joe Raposo.
Big Bird does his own version of the show in Episode 2393, where he presents "Here Is Your Puerto Rican Life" to Maria. Big Bird pretends to be Guy Smiley, and Elmo and the kids pretend to be the people and things she fondly remembers from Puerto Rico.
