Here for Each Other is a Sesame Workshop initiative that first appeared in the form of a resource booklet, subtitled Helping Families After an Emergency, issued in 2009.
It includes illustrations of Mae, Elmo, Louie, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Prairie Dawn, Big Bird, Grover, Grover's Mommy, Bert, Rosita, Rosa, Radar, Ernestine, Baby David, Bernice, Zoe, Mimi, Oscar the Grouch, Slimey, and Rubber Duckie.
It was promoted again on December 15, 2012, the day after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
In October 2014, a series of online videos about dealing with emergency situations were released to the Sesame Street In Communities YouTube channel.
