"Hey, Hey, Hey, We're On Our Way" is a Sesame Street song written for the cast's appearance in the 93rd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2019. The cast sings as they make their way to the parade from Sesame Street, via tricycle, skates, buses, and more. Much of the song was presented in pre-taped footage before cutting to the cast live at the parade.
Some small sections of the song were cut from the final broadcast version.[1] The song was nominated for "Outstanding Original Song" in the 2020 Daytime Emmy Awards.
