Hilarity for Charity is a variety special that debuted on Netflix on April 6, 2018. Hosted by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller, the special features comedy and musical performances from an array of celebrities.
The Muppets appear in a segment that begins with Chelsea Peretti and Kumail Nanjiani discussing the only comedic legend who hasn't yet had their own Netflix comedy special: Fozzie Bear (comments from Statler and Waldorf are also included). Beginning with "archive" footage of Fozzie performing at The El Sleezo Cafe in 1991, Fozzie is introduced by Rogen, but quickly begins to bomb on stage. To help out, Fozzie is joined by Kermit the Frog, Gonzo, Camilla the Chicken, Floyd Pepper, Sam the Eagle, Animal, Walter, Rogen, Peretti, and Nanjani singing "The Magic Store".
Later, Kermit joins Rogen and Miller onstage to lead the audience in a sing-along of "Rainbow Connection".
Other guests in the special include Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Silverman, Michelle Wolf, John Mulaney, James Corden, Post Malone, Nick Kroll, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Che, and Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious.
